Our goal is simple: provide high quality scanning services and imaging products, while delivering projects on-time and on-budget. Our lineup includes document scanning services, photo scanning services, document management systems, and scanners. Modern Image is focused on document imaging projects in Northern Virginia, DC, Maryland, Atlanta, and New Orleans. We listen to you. With your needs in mind, we will prepare a project proposal that will address your requirements and get your project started quickly and painlessly. Founded in 2006, we have amassed great experience with a wide variety of industry sectors, including Associations and Nonprofits, Healthcare, Business, Financial Services, Government, and Legal. Our first client was the Drink More Water store in Rockville, MD where we scanned back-office documents to help the owner operate more efficiently. Later that year, we completed our first project over 500,000 pages for a national nonprofit, PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) of Norfolk, VA. PETA asked us to scan their complete historical archives to enable internal research.
2007 - Modern Image completes its first million-page project for a local association for medical professionals. We digitized each file for each member, both active and inactive, and then stored the files in an association management system.
2007 - Modern Image enters the Government Market providing scanning services for a cabinet level department. We continue to perform a government scanning as a subcontractor to firms like CSC in McLean, VA.
2007 - Modern Image enters the Legal Market, providing litigation support scanning services for Karp, Frosh, Wigodsky & Norwind, P.A. of Rockville, MD.
2008 - Modern Image enters the Financial Services market on 2 fronts. We began working for a large investment fund manager in Maryland, and at the same time we began scanning projects for individual Certified Financial Planners, starting with Brock Jolly at the Mass Mutual Financial Group.
2009 - Modern Image enters the Medical Record Scanning market. We completed our first medical record scanning project for Capital Dermatology in Alexandria, VA. We implemented extremely tough security standards to address HIPAA compliance. We created the HIPAA Scanning Protocol to ensure the highest quality images while providing robust security during the scanning process.
2011 - Modern Image enters the consumer market with photo scanning and personal paper scanning services, bringing the benefits of business scanning to the home.
2012 - Modern Image expanded into a new scanning facility located in Tysons Corner, the heart of the economic engine for the DC Metro area. The Tysons Scanning Center (TSC) is situated for easy access from any of the major Tysons’ corporate headquarters including Freddie Mac, Gannett/USA Today, Hilton Worldwide, and Capital One.
