ImprivataGreat article about Single Sign-On for clinitians.  The Scan Man marketed the first single sign-on products while I was working for CA (the Computer Associates).  The problem single sing-on addresses is multiple logins and multiple passwords for several applications is highly inefficient and expensive.  The result is that a person logs in once to their computer and they are automatically logged into all the other software where they are authorized.  In this study, the savings is $2,675 per clinitian.
